Te Pou Huia International Maori Performing Arts Group

WHAT WE DO

We perform at Shows, Folk Festivals and Perform around the world showcasing our beautiful culture through the eyes of Maori Performing Arts.

All of our members are experianced and have travelled to many different parts of the world including China, France, Belgium, Australia and Hawaii just to name a few.

We perform Traditional Kapa Haka (Maori Dance) and also Contemporary Performing Arts segmants. We showcase many of our art forms including Waiata (song), Haka (War Dance), Poi (Ball on string), Rakau (Weaponary) and many more.
